Museum of Jewelry Quarter is a famous museum and Birmingham attraction, situated on Vyse Street, Hockley. Museum of the Jewelry Quarter chronicles the story of the famous Smith & Pepper jewelry house that thrived 200 years back, till its sovereigns decided to seal their business in 1981. They stepped out of the business house, leaving their tools, machines, stamps and other belongings back. Now the age old ways they employed has been put on display for the people to explore. It is an assortment of Smith & Pepper’s possessions of tools, machines, dirty teacups, jams etc. It is a part of Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, and a very intriguing collection from the past of jewelry making. You can board bus 16, 78,101, 74, 79 and 8C, which leaves a minute’s walk to your destination. Getting Birmingham hotels is never a problem.
