Opened in 1852, King's Cross Railway Station is situated on the edge of Central London at the junction of A501 Euston Road and York Way in the district of King Cross, within the London Borough of Camden. It is believed that the station is built on the burial site of Celtic warrior queen Boudicaa. The station is a part of the southern terminus of the East Coast Main Line which is considered to be one of the major railway backbones of the United Kingdom.
