Cheltenham Promenade is the proud venue for the popular markets of the town which attracts a lot of residents as well as tourists in Cheltenham. Every second and last Friday, award winning Farmer’s Markets are held. All the goods sold in these markets are grown or produced within 30 miles of Cheltenham. These goods include fruit, vegetables, meat, preserves, desserts and cakes. Another attraction of these markets are the regular markets arranged specially for continental and international goods which offer the chance to the visitors to sample and buy foods from all over the world like Bavarian sausages, French garlic potatoes, Spanish paellas and Cheese and Spanish hams. A selection of local cheese, bread and much more is sold every fortnight at Cheltenham’s Market. The cakes available in the market are made with local flour and eggs. Even for the tourists who are staying in any of the hotels in Cheltenham, the Farmer’s Market acts as a major attraction.
