Located in the outskirts of the city of Exeter and near the eastern boundary of Dartmoor National Park, this much admired center of Contemporary Art and Natural World possesses a serene woodland setting along with Haldon Forest Park. The center successfully organizes a lot of exhibitions, educational activities along with artist-led projects in order to address the urgent environment, social and scientific issues that are concerned to all of us. In all there are four exhibitions organized in a year with long term and short term workshops, talks and conferences on art, design, photography and architecture. The work resulting from projects and residences form a permanent collection along with their commissions. The center also organizes live events across all the genres of the art including music, literature and dance. It also promotes new technologies and sciences. The aim of the Center lies in attracting more than 60,000 visitors each year along with its enhancement in local, national, regional and international audiences.
