The Barrowland Ballroom is also known as The Barrowlands as well as The Barras. It has gathered fame as a major concert venue in Glasgow for several decades. With the modest capacity of 1900, the place has an outstanding repute from magnetizing top performers. The original building of this venue in Glasgow was established in 1934 in a commercial area towards the east of the city center of Glasgow. The area and the ballroom derive the name from the “Barras” street market which still continues. The area is famous amongst the tourists and thus possesses several Glasgow hotels as well. The front of the building is exclusive with huge animated neon sign.
